Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2016 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work A village river landscape with boats on the water by Abraham Storck. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,691.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Storck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Capricci of Mediterranean ports: the first with the monument of the Four Moors of Leghorn; the second with a monument of Abundance in July 2000 with an auction result of GBP 443,750.00 (€ 717,537.91).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Capricci of Mediterranean ports: the first with the monument of the Four Moors of Leghorn; the second with a monument of Abundance im Juli 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 443.750,00 (€ 717.537,91).
