This work of art by Abraham Rademaker could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours auction, the work An Italianate landscape with a chapel beside a lake; and A classical river landscape with a traveller on a bridge changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,497.05) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Rademaker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of Nijmegen, With Boatmen Loading Barges In The Foreground in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,222.06).
