In June 2004 Christies in London held the auction British Pictures (1500-1850), which included the work Richard I at the Battle of Ascolan by Abraham Cooper. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,315.00 (€ 30,234.80). Other works by Abraham Cooper have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 56,250.00 (€ 35,718.82) in June 2008 for the work Daniel Haigh, Master Of The Old Surrey And Burstow Hunt On His Horse Kitten.
