Auction result well in line with expectations
The work ...And The Lord God Sent Him Forth From The Garden of Eden' (Genesis III, 23) by Abel Pann was sold in the 19th & 20th Century Art at the Hilton Hotel auction at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,474.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abel Pann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Geschwister in Winterlandschaft, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 93,750.00.
