Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Orpah With Her Hand On Her Heart by Abel Pann was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 25,994.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abel Pann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Geschwister in Winterlandschaft, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 93,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Orpah With Her Hand On Her Heart von Abel Pann wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 25.994,01) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Abel Pann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Geschwister in Winterlandschaft beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 93.750,00 versteigert wurde.
