Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Artist With His Family by Aat Veldhoen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2001. The price achieved of NLG 2,937.50 (€ 1,411.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aat Veldhoen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bij de tandarts, which sold at auction in September 2011 for EUR 5,000.00.

Die Arbeit The Artist With His Family von Aat Veldhoen kam im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 2.937,50 (€ 1.411,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Aat Veldhoen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bij de tandarts beobachtet, die im September 2011 für EUR 5.000,00 versteigert wurde.
