A top price for Aat Veldhoen - as previously expected
The work Bij de tandarts by Aat Veldhoen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bij de tandarts is the most expensive artwork by Aat Veldhoen that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Bij de tandarts von Aat Veldhoen kam im September 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Bij de tandarts das teuerste Kunstwerk von Aat Veldhoen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
