Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2000 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work The artist and his first wife by Aat Veldhoen. The price achieved of NLG 936.16 (€ 398.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aat Veldhoen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bij de tandarts in September 2011 with an auction result of EUR 5,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2000 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The artist and his first wife von Aat Veldhoen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 936,16 (€ 398,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aat Veldhoen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bij de tandarts im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.000,00.
