Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Christies in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Untitled, c. 1950 by Aart Klein. The price achieved of GBP 687.50 (€ 802.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Aart Klein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Urban landscapes 1-3, c. 1960 in May 2010 with an auction result of GBP 4,625.00 (€ 5,418.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, c. 1950 von Aart Klein zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 687,50 (€ 802,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aart Klein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Urban landscapes 1-3, c. 1960 im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.625,00 (€ 5.418,83).
