Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Inside Job: Christie's Staff Art Show, which included the work Forest King by Aaron Young. The price achieved of USD 500.00 (€ 455.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greeting Card 10a in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 139,803.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Inside Job: Christie's Staff Art Show durch, in der auch die Arbeit Forest King von Aaron Young zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 500,00 (€ 455,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Young erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greeting Card 10a im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 139.803,15).
