Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Christies in New York held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Nothing Comes From Nowhere by Aaron Johnson. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 30,240.00 (€ 34,403.84). Other works by Aaron Johnson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 60,480.00 (€ 56,360.08) in May last year for the work Spirit in the Sky.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nothing Comes From Nowhere von Aaron Johnson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 30.240,00 (€ 34.403,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Aaron Johnson haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.480,00 (€ 56.360,08) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Spirit in the Sky beobachtet.
