Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art Online, which included the work Eagle Rock Valley 20 x 30 1/4 in. framed 29 1/2 x 39 1/2 in. by Aaron Kilpatrick. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,400.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,536.00 (€ 1,408.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Aaron Kilpatrick have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring Landscape in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 10,575.00 (€ 12,461.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eagle Rock Valley 20 x 30 1/4 in. framed 29 1/2 x 39 1/2 in. von Aaron Kilpatrick zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.400,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.536,00 (€ 1.408,14) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aaron Kilpatrick auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spring Landscape im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.575,00 (€ 12.461,70).
