Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work California Landscape (Near Eagle Rock) 20 x 30 in. framed 28 x 38 in. by Aaron Kilpatrick for USD 1,152.00 (€ 1,056.11). This price was achieved in the auction California and Western Art Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,400.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Kilpatrick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Landscape in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 10,575.00 (€ 12,461.70).

Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit California Landscape (Near Eagle Rock) 20 x 30 in. framed 28 x 38 in. von Aaron Kilpatrick für USD 1.152,00 (€ 1.056,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Kilpatrick erzielen.
