In November 2003 Christies in London held the auction At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper, which included the work A bustling Parisian street by Alfred F. de Prades. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 728.50 (€ 1,045.77), 21% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred F. de Prades achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Robert the Devil with Jockey up on a racecourse in May 2002 with an auction result of USD 89,625.00 (€ 95,968.52).

Im November 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit A bustling Parisian street von Alfred F. de Prades zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 728,50 (€ 1.045,77) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred F. de Prades erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Robert the Devil with Jockey up on a racecourse im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 89.625,00 (€ 95.968,52).
