Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Magpies On Branches by Zou Yigui was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 43,750.00 (€ 5,000.56). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zou Yigui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 394,000.00 (€ 350,596.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Magpies On Branches von Zou Yigui wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 43.750,00 (€ 5.000,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zou Yigui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 394.000,00 (€ 350.596,19).
