Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eighteen Luohan after Li Longmian by Zou Yigui was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in July 2020. The price achieved of USD 5,075.00 (€ 4,310.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zou Yigui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 394,000.00 (€ 350,596.19).

Die Arbeit Eighteen Luohan after Li Longmian von Zou Yigui kam im Juli 2020 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.075,00 (€ 4.310,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zou Yigui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 394.000,00 (€ 350.596,19).
