Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flower and Birds by Zou Yigui was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 352,800.00 (€ 42,656.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zou Yigui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 394,000.00 (€ 350,596.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flower and Birds von Zou Yigui wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 352.800,00 (€ 42.656,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zou Yigui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 394.000,00 (€ 350.596,19).
