This artwork by Zou Yigui achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 89,625.00 (€ 9,028.60) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zou Yigui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 394,000.00 (€ 350,596.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zou Yigui erzielte im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 89.625,00 (€ 9.028,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zou Yigui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 394.000,00 (€ 350.596,19).
