This artwork by Zou Yigui achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Golden-Green Mountains sold for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 41,555.50) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zou Yigui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 394,000.00 (€ 350,596.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zou Yigui erzielte im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Golden-Green Mountains für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 41.555,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zou Yigui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 394.000,00 (€ 350.596,19).
