Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Portrait of a young girl with blonde ringlets by Zinaida Serebriakova. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,862.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zinaida Serebriakova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study Of A Sleeping Girl in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 3,845,000.00 (€ 5,421,401.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a young girl with blonde ringlets von Zinaida Serebriakova zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 41.862,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zinaida Serebriakova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study Of A Sleeping Girl im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.845.000,00 (€ 5.421.401,74).
