Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Slender Gold Style by Zhuang Yan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in February 2021. The price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,197.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhuang Yan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Kaishu, which sold at auction in April 2019 for HKD 72,500.00 (€ 8,252.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Slender Gold Style von Zhuang Yan kam im Februar 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.197,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhuang Yan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu beobachtet, die im April 2019 für HKD 72.500,00 (€ 8.252,61) versteigert wurde.
