Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhu Zumou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu sold for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 20,636.59) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zhu Zumou; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Poems sold at auction in April 2014 with the realized price of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 20,926.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Zumou erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 20.636,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zhu Zumou; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Poems im April 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 20.926,46).
