Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Court Musician by Zhu Yiyong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 160,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 17,421.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhu Yiyong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Festival Of The First Full Moon (Heptaptych) in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,144,000.00 (€ 111,984.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Court Musician von Zhu Yiyong kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 160.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 17.421,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Yiyong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Festival Of The First Full Moon (Heptaptych) im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.144.000,00 (€ 111.984,81).
