Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings and Modern and Contemporary Ink Art, which included the work The Golden Lotus by Zhu Xinjian. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,165.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Xinjian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bird on a Branch in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings and Modern and Contemporary Ink Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Golden Lotus von Zhu Xinjian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.165,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Xinjian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bird on a Branch im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
