Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Lady by Zhu Xinjian was worth HKD 192,000.00 (€ 24,603.99) to a buyer in October last year. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Zhu Xinjian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bird on a Branch in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Lady von Zhu Xinjian war einem Käufer im Oktober letzten Jahres HKD 192.000,00 (€ 24.603,99) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Xinjian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bird on a Branch im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
