It achieved a price of HKD 82,600.00 (€ 10,455.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65%. Admittedly, works by Zhu Xinjian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bird on a Branch in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).

Die Arbeit Flower and Butterfly/Prosperity/Happy Gathering Regardless of Wind and Rain/Citta is Buddha von Zhu Xinjian kam im August letzten Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 82.600,00 (€ 10.455,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Xinjian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bird on a Branch im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
