A top price for Zhu Xinjian - as previously expected
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Bird on a Branch by Zhu Xinjian. The price achieved of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bird on a Branch is the most expensive artwork by Zhu Xinjian that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bird on a Branch von Zhu Xinjian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Bird on a Branch das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhu Xinjian, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
