Chinese Paintings From the Yanqinzhai Collection 「硯琴齋」珍藏中國書畫 Lot 601-731 「杯裏紫茶香代酒，琴中綠水靜留賓」 ——硯琴齋主之書畫收藏 硯琴齋主，祖籍廣東汕頭，生於香港。早年從事貿易，經商之餘耽於傳統藝術。上世紀七十年代，師從本港名家范又新習書，八十年代初先後隨容思澤、吳景略、蔡德允諸師習操縵，並蒐訪歷代琴器，復考其沿革，珍藏唐宋元明以來古斲甚夥。數十年來，以琴會友，多次於港、臺和澳門各大學及博物館舉辦古琴展覽及講座，竭心盡力於古琴藝術之普及推廣。 絲桐之外，硯琴齋主亦雅好丹青�

Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by Zhu Xinjian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October 2021. In the Chinese Paintings From the Yanqinzhai CollectionThe Online Sale auction, the work Tea Set sold for HKD 12,750.00 (€ 1,418.26) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Xinjian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bird on a Branch in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Xinjian erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings From the Yanqinzhai CollectionThe Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Tea Set für HKD 12.750,00 (€ 1.418,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Xinjian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bird on a Branch im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
