Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Beauty by Zhu Xinjian for USD 1,000.00 (€ 934.75). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Xinjian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bird on a Branch in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Beauty von Zhu Xinjian für USD 1.000,00 (€ 934,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Xinjian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bird on a Branch im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
