Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Zhu Wei. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,651.50). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ink And Wash Research Lectures Series in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,475,000.00 (€ 709,338.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zhu Wei zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.651,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ink And Wash Research Lectures Series im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.475.000,00 (€ 709.338,68).
