A top price for Zhu Shijie - as previously expected
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Yandang Mountain School by Zhu Shijie. The price achieved of HKD 192,000.00 (€ 196,069.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Yandang Mountain School is the most expensive artwork by Zhu Shijie that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yandang Mountain School von Zhu Shijie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 196.069,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Yandang Mountain School das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhu Shijie, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
