Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2003 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART, which included the work Cherry Blossom by Zhu Shijie. The price achieved of HKD 131,450.00 (€ 13,689.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 140,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Shijie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yandang Mountain School in April this year with an auction result of HKD 192,000.00 (€ 196,069.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2003 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cherry Blossom von Zhu Shijie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 131.450,00 (€ 13.689,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 140.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Shijie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yandang Mountain School im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 196.069,57).
