Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scholar Appreciating Water Lilies by Zhu Meicun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,007.88). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Meicun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies Embroidering A Hundred Butterflies in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 394,327.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scholar Appreciating Water Lilies von Zhu Meicun kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.007,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Meicun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies Embroidering A Hundred Butterflies im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 394.327,42).
