A top price for Zhu Meicun
When the work Ladies Embroidering A Hundred Butterflies by Zhu Meicun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 600,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than five times as high at HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 394,327.42). This high result makes Ladies Embroidering A Hundred Butterflies the most expensive artwork by Zhu Meicun that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Ladies Embroidering A Hundred Butterflies von Zhu Meicun im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
