Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn Landscape by Zhu Meicun was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction at Christies in Cologne in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,551.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Meicun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies Embroidering A Hundred Butterflies in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 394,327.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Zhu Meicun wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Köln versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.551,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Meicun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies Embroidering A Hundred Butterflies im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 394.327,42).
