Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Zhou Xian was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 9,440.00 (€ 1,077.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhou Xian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Six Circular Fans in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 7,792.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Zhou Xian kam im Mai 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 9.440,00 (€ 1.077,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhou Xian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Six Circular Fans im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 7.792,38).
