Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Homage To The Canyon by Zheng Weiguo was sold in the Contemporary Literati: Early Ink Masters auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 8,896.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Other works by Zheng Weiguo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Desert Sunset was auctioned for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,048.04).
