Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work South Of The Yangzi by Zheng Weiguo. The price achieved of USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,903.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zheng Weiguo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Desert Sunset in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,048.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit South Of The Yangzi von Zheng Weiguo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.125,00 (€ 1.903,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Weiguo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Desert Sunset im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 13.048,04).
