Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 10,000 Customers (Set Of Twenty) by Zheng Guogu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,503.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Zheng Guogu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Waterfall in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 58,337.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 10,000 Customers (Set Of Twenty) von Zheng Guogu kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.503,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Guogu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Waterfall im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 58.337,11).
