Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Official Script Calligraphy by Zheng Fu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 12,500.00 (€ 1,195.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Fu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems in Seal Script in December this year with an auction result of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 218,694.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Official Script Calligraphy von Zheng Fu kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 12.500,00 (€ 1.195,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Fu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems in Seal Script im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 218.694,63).
