In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphic Couplets by Zheng Fu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 26,400.00 (€ 26,959.57), 32% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zheng Fu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poems in Seal Script in December this year with an auction result of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 218,694.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets von Zheng Fu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 26.400,00 (€ 26.959,57) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Fu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poems in Seal Script im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 218.694,63).
