This artwork by Zheng Fu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy in Clerical Script sold for HKD 1,160,000.00 (€ 120,841.15) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zheng Fu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Poems in Seal Script sold at auction in December this year with the realized price of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 218,694.63).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Zheng Fu erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy in Clerical Script für HKD 1.160.000,00 (€ 120.841,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zheng Fu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Poems in Seal Script im Dezember diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 218.694,63).
