Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ode In Clerical Script Calligraphy by Zheng Fu was sold in the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 48,000.00 (€ 4,998.62), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Fu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems in Seal Script in December this year with an auction result of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 218,694.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ode In Clerical Script Calligraphy von Zheng Fu wurde im Mai 2005 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 4.998,62) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Fu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems in Seal Script im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 218.694,63).
