Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Calligraphy by Zheng Fu was worth USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,447.62) to a buyer in September 2011. This price was achieved in the auction A Connoisseur's Vision: Property from the Xu Hanqing Collection at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 9,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Fu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems in Seal Script in December this year with an auction result of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 218,694.63).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zheng Fu war einem Käufer im September 2011 USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.447,62) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion A Connoisseur's Vision: Property from the Xu Hanqing Collection bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Fu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems in Seal Script im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 218.694,63).
