Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Clerical Script by Zheng Fu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 3,999.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Fu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems in Seal Script in December this year with an auction result of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 218,694.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Clerical Script von Zheng Fu kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 3.999,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Fu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems in Seal Script im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 218.694,63).
