A top price for Zhao Zhimin - as previously expected
The work Ladies in Four Seasons by Zhao Zhimin was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 6,039.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ladies in Four Seasons is the most expensive artwork by Zhao Zhimin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Ladies in Four Seasons von Zhao Zhimin kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 6.039,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Ladies in Four Seasons das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhao Zhimin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
