Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2001 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS, which included the work Figures After Ancient Masters by Zhao Zhimin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 21,150.00 (€ 3,055.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zhao Zhimin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December last year the work Ladies in Four Seasons was auctioned for HKD 50,400.00 (€ 6,039.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2001 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures After Ancient Masters von Zhao Zhimin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 21.150,00 (€ 3.055,48) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Zhao Zhimin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres die Arbeit Ladies in Four Seasons für HKD 50.400,00 (€ 6.039,71) versteigert.
