Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy In Clerical Script by Zhao Zhichen. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,801.42). Other works by Zhao Zhichen have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 30,000.00 (€ 22,164.76) in September 2013 for the work Couplet In Clerical Script.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script von Zhao Zhichen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.801,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Zhao Zhichen haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 22.164,76) im September 2013 für die Arbeit Couplet In Clerical Script beobachtet.
