This artwork by Zhao Yunyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2015. In the Grace from Dafengtang Studio - Painting and Calligraphy by Chang Dai-chien and His School auction, the work Tibet Ladies sold for HKD 96,760.00 (€ 11,304.15) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. This high result makes Tibet Ladies the most expensive artwork by Zhao Yunyu that we have observed at auctions so far.
