Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beauty by Zhao Yunyu was sold in the Grace from Dafengtang Studio - Painting and Calligraphy by Chang Dai-chien and His School auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,135.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhao Yunyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tibet Ladies, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 96,760.00 (€ 11,304.15).

Die Arbeit Beauty von Zhao Yunyu wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Grace from Dafengtang Studio - Painting and Calligraphy by Chang Dai-chien and His School bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.135,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhao Yunyu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tibet Ladies beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 96.760,00 (€ 11.304,15) versteigert wurde.
